• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: 50 Years
• Candidates must have born not earlier than 1st January, 1969 and not later than 1st January, 2001

• Candidate must have passed (7th) or equivalent examination recognized by the State Government on the date of Notification.

Selection Procedure

1. The following Basic Skill Test on Fire Fighting and Rescue Operations for Home Guard (Fireman) for (50) marks will be conducted on 01-03-2019 from 09.00 AM. The candidate should qualify in minimum (03) tests with (15) qualifying marks.

2. Driving Test will be conducted to those who applied for Home Guard (Driver Operator) on 06-03-2019 from 09.00 AM by the Selection Committee.

3. The Chairman of the Selection Committee will scrutinize the applications received and will conduct the Basic Skill Test in Fire Fighting operations for Fireman and Driver Test to the eligible candidates at the following venues on the dates noted against each District along with Committee Members as constituted by the Director General of Police, A.P., Mangalagiri, Guntur District.

4. Candidates have to make their own arrangements with regard to their transportation, boarding, stay, etc., for attending the Selection process. Selection Committee will not entertain any representation of the candidate who fails to attend the Selection Process. The place of Venue and Time Schedule to be strictly followed.

5. Remuneration i.e. Duty allowances to Home Guards as per G.O.Ms.No.77, Home (Budget) Department, dated.18-06-2018 is Rs.600/- w.e.f.18-06-2018.

How to Apply

1. Candidates must apply in the Application Form devised by the A.P. State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department in the website : https://202.83.28.165/recruit which can be downloaded from the above portal.

2. The payment of Rs.25/- in favour of Administrative Officer, drawn on Vijayawada, Office of the Director General State Disaster Response & Fire Services, A.P., Vijayawada from 28-01-2019 @ 10.30 A.M. to 18-02-2019 @ 5.00 P.M. and up load the Copy of the D.D. along with requisite Certificates etc in the online portal itself between the above dates Without fail.

4. Incomplete applications or applications without prescribed enclosures will not be entertained (or) Not taken for consideration of Selection process.

5. The candidates must up load the copies of : 1) Educational Qualifications Certificates, 2). Date of Birth Certificate, 3). Nativity Certificate, 4). Caste Certificate, 5). H.M.V. Driver License (Minimum 2 years experience) 6). Aadhar Card, 7). Experience Certificate in Fire Fighting and Rescue Operations. 8) Passport size photo.
