Education Requirements:

i) B.Sc. Dairying/ B.Sc. Dairying (Dairy Technology) / B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) / B.Sc. / B.Tech (Food Tech.) with 4 years degree / B.V.Sc. /B.V.Sc. & A.H from recognized institute with minimum 60% of marks or equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed.

ii) M.Sc / M.V.Sc. (APT/LPT) / M.V.Sc. (Dairy Chemistry / Dairy Microbiology) / M.Tech (Dairy Technology / Dairy Science & Technology / Food Technology / Food Science and Technology) with minimum 70% of marks or equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed, a relaxation of 5% of marks will be given at the graduate and master’s level for the SC/Differently able categories.

iii) Doctoral degree in Dairy Technology / Dairy Science & Technology / Food Technology with specialization in Dairy Technology / Food Science and Technology with specialization in Dairy Technology / Animal Products Technology with specialization in Dairy Technology

iv) Eight years of experience of teaching / research or extension in an academic/ research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, recognized College or accredited Institution excluding the period spent for Ph.D degree.

v) Evidence of published work with minimum of five publications in referred journal only.

vi) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses and technology mediated teaching learning process with experience of having guided post-graduate students’ research.

(ii) M.Tech. Dairying (Dairy Engineering) / M.Tech. (Agril. / Agril. Process / Chemical / Dairy / Dairy & Food / Processing and Food Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical / Post Harvest Engg.) / M.Sc./ M.Tech. Bio Process Engineering with minimum 70% of marks or equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed, a relaxation of 5% of marks will be given at the graduate and master’s level for the SC/Differently able categories.
