Pay scale ( वेतन ) : 15,000 per month (fix)

Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : i) Master degree in Law (LLM/ML) or research scholar in law (Ph.D) or bachular degree in law who is having interest in alternate dispute resolution; (ii) Master Degree or a higher degree (M.Phil/Ph.D) in Social Work/Sociology/ MBA with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university;

Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : (i) Experience in court practice (civil procedure) , teaching / research in universities/ colleges; (ii) Publication of research paper/article in reputed journal. (iii) Presentation/Participation in State or National Level Conference/Symposium; (iv) Excellent inter-personal and team-building skills; (v) Ability to conduct research work. (vi) Experience in empirical legal research.

Desired skills ( वांछित कौशल ) : Good knowledge of latest national and international research trends and developments in relevant area; Working experience in MS Office, basic knowledge of information technology; Working knowledge of English and Gujarati languages; Excellent research and writing skills.

Job responsibilities / description ( उत्तरदायित्व) :Under the guidance of Principal Investigator/CoInvestigator the incumbent shall perform the following role and responsibilities in project entitled research project titled “Resolving pending cases through Alternative Dispute Resolution under section 89 of Civil Procedure Code: a Case Study”. (i) Provide research assistance to Principal Investigator/Co-Investigator; (ii) Conduct interdisciplinary research in view of aim and objectives of the Project; (iii) Developing qualitative and quantitative tools and making qualitative and quantities research analysis (iv) Collecting data, compilation of data sets and interpretation of data analysis and report writing (v) Participate and present the research work in Conference/ Symposium as per guidance of Principal Investigator/Co-Investigator; (vi) Perform project related duties including administrative, coordination, etc. as required to achieve the aim and objectives of the Project; (vii) Any other research or project related work which may be assigned by the Principal Investigator/Co-Investigator.
