Pay scale ( वेतन ) : Rs. 16000 /- P.M. (consolidated) for candidates with NET and Rs. 14000 /- P.M. (consolidated) for candidates without NET will be paid.
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : M.Sc. in Physics preferably specialization in Solid State Physics or Materials Science with a minimum of 55% marks. Desirable: NET or GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.

Age limit ( आयु सीमा ) : 28 years or below till last date application. The maximum age for JRF/Project Fellow position is 28 years, which may be relaxed to reserve category candidates as per the rules of Government of India.
