Pay scale ( वेतन ) : 1. Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis if get selected will be offered Rs. 28, 000/- + 30% HRA. On submission of Ph.D. Degree certificate emoluments will be revised to Rs. 36, 000/- + 30% HRA. 2. Candidates with Ph.D. will be paid Rs. 36,000/- + 30% HRA to Rs. 40,000/- + 30% HRA based on experience.
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : PhD. in Chemistry / Physics / Material Science or any other related areas. Candidates, who have submitted Ph.D. thesis will also be considered, provided they submit proof of submission of thesis at the time of interview.
Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : Experience in performing Kinetic Monte Carlo simulations to study reaction kinetics.
Job responsibilities / description ( उत्तरदायित्व) :Proven expertise in performing DFT based simulations, computing reaction barriers using Nudged Elastic Band methods.

Based on the recommendations of the Screening Committee, the Project Investigator may restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview to a reasonable limit after taking into consideration qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
