Pay scale ( वेतन ) : Rs. 36000/- per month + @20%HRA
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : Ph. D. in Biotechnology/Life Sciences or allied subjects. The ideal candidate has to be competent in Viral infection, animal handling, cell culture, Flow Cytometric Analysis, Viral plaque assay, RT-PCR etc. A decent publication record from Ph.D. work is also expected. Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are waiting for viva voce may also apply. For such candidates, fellowship amount will be that of an SRF until he/she defends Ph.D. thesis. Selection will be carried out through application screening, followed by an interview process.

Eligibility criteria ( योग्यता ) : Ph. D. in Biotechnology or Life Sciences. Candidate should be very well versed with basic cell biology and molecular biology techniques Experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques and cell biology techniques is highly desirable. Candidates having experience in handling mice and candidates having first author publication in peerreviewed journal in above subject areas will be given preference. Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are waiting for viva voce may also apply. For such candidates, fellowship amount will be that of an SRF until he/she defends Ph.D. thesis.
