Education Requirements: MBBS degree from a recognized University

Experience Requirements: Post-qualification experience of 10 years in Hospital in the relevant field of specialization.

Eligibility Criteria: For Deputation : The Officers holding analogous posts or holding posts of Dy Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) and equivalent specialist posts in the Scale of Pay of ` 24900-50500 ( Rs. 13000-1850 pre-revised) in Medical Deptt of a Govt / Semi Govt / PSU or Autonomous Body with 3 years’ service in the grade will be eligible. The selection is by merit for which the benchmark in overall grading in the ACRs will not be below “Very Good”. The deputation will be governed by the Rules / Guidelines issued by the Central Govt from time to time. The deputation will be for a period of three years.

Desirable Qualifications: A post-graduate medical degree in the following specified specialties from a recognized University : General Surgery / Paediatrics / Orthopaedic / Anaesthesia.
