Eligibility criteria ( योग्यता ) : The candidates possessing Doctorate/ post graduate degree in Agriculture /Forestry / Environmental Science /Botany/ Plantation Science / or any plant related disciplines from a Recognized University/Institute with working experience in the area of garden management and resource mobilization. Applicants with Management Experience in the field of reputed Botanic Gardens or any other ex-situ Conservation garden will be desirable. He/She should have excellent skills in communication and has to perform in the following three major areas of roles and responsibilities
Job responsibilities / description ( उत्तरदायित्व) :1. Strengthening of the present Garden 1. Coordinate with head of the Garden Programme in the preparation and implementation of MSSBG Business plan (responsible in taking tender procedures and implementation steps etc.) 2. Involve in the necessary research components on validation of Ethno-medicinal plant knowledge, which already documented by CABC; 3. Involve directly in developing an Ethno-medicinal Plant Garden; 2. Developing effective Management Plan for the Garden 1. Coordinate with the head of the Garden Programme to organise meetings that help to strengthen the research and outreach of the Garden 2. Understand the regulatory aspects of access and benefit sharing related to the genetic resources and traditional knowledge management; Botanical Garden management, Biodiversity Research, fee levying, income tax etc.. 3. Donor Relationship building 1. Identification of suitable donors from local, national and international arena; 2. Preparation of donor-specific communication materials; 3. Facilitation of meetings with donors/direct involvement in presentation of the proposals; 4. Organising Garden specific resource mobilization meetings; 5. Work in close collaboration with head of the Garden Programme implementation team in attracting and retaining donors;
