Pay scale ( वेतन ) : Level 13 A (Rs. 131100- 216600) (i.e. PB-4, Rs. 37,400 – 67,000/-, GP Rs. 8,900/- of the 6th Pay Commission)
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : 1. A First or High Second class (above 57%) Masters Degree in Entomology / Plant Pathology or in Agriculture / Botany / Zoology with specialization in Entomology or Plant Pathology or Weed Science or Nematology or Vertebrate Pest Management. Preference for candidates with exposure to Agricultural Entomology / Plant pathology. 2. Ph.D. in the relevant subjects
Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : 1) Advanced Training in Plant Protection. 2) Experience in management of projects/programmes including training programmes.
Experience requirements ( अनुभव ) : Minimum work experience of 17 years with at least 6 years of experience in Integrated Pest Management including teaching/training etc.
