The score is valid only if the candidate obtains more than or equal to the qualifying marks as fixed for the respective discipline in GATE 2017/GATE 2018/GATE 2019. Please note that only GATE 2017/GATE 2018/GATE 2019 score is valid for this recruitment exercise in NPCIL under this advertisement. Thus, PwBDs having GATE score equal to least of the cut offs may get shortlisted for interview irrespective of their category (UR/SC/ST/OBC/EWS). Number of PwBDs shortlisted with this method shall be over and above the number of candidates shortlisted by applying 1:12 ratio. v. Discipline and category wise cut off shall be displayed on recruitment web portal of NPCIL. Result of shortlisting for interview shall be made available to candidates under ‘Application Status’ link through individual login on www.npcilcareers.co.in. vi. The qualifying marks for interview are as follows : Unreserved – 70 % SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD – 60 % viii. Final merit list will be prepared based on marks secured in the interview and will be limited to number of vacancies notified. ix. Wherever both interview marks as well as GATE Scores are equal, credit will be given to seniority in date of birth. Therefore, candidates scoring marks equal to cut off marks for interview, may not get selected owing to other candidates scoring same interview marks getting empanelled/waitlisted due to higher GATE 2017 or GATE 2018 or GATE 2019 score, as the case may be or seniority in date of birth. x. Result of the interview shall be made available to the candidates through individual login on recruitment website of NPCIL www.npcilcareers.co.in. Text of the Offer of appointment will also be made available for downloading to the empanelled candidates on this website under individual login. xi. On receipt of offer, empanelled candidates will be required to exercise their option regarding whether they want to join NPCIL or not on Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) developed by IIT, Madras. Candidates opting out of joining NPCIL or not exercising any option on COAP will be deemed to be not interested in joining NPCIL and offer will be issued to the waitlisted candidates in the order of merit.
