Experience Requirements: Experience in molecular marker techniques, Biochemical analysis like phytic acid, β-Carotene, Fe and Zn analysis

General Information:
1. The Interested and eligible candidate fulfilling the above qualifications are invited to appear for walk in interview alongwith the prescribed format of application on 24.08.2015 ¼for positions serial No. 1), on 25.08.2015 (for positions serial No. 2 to 3) and on 26.08.2015 ¼for positions serial No. 4 to 5½ at 10:00 AM at ICAR-Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan, Almora – 263601(Uttarakhand) alongwith the application, Bio-Data affixing a self attested recent passport size photograph and enclosing self attested copies of certificates in support of age (Class 10th Certificate), qualifications, experience. 2. No-objection certificate from the employer/University in case he/she is in employment elsewhere/ studying. 3. The candidates are necessarily required to produce all original certificate which will be returned to them. 4. The above positions are on contractual basis, purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project 5. The place of work will be at ICAR-VPKAS, Almora (Uttarakhand) or the project site. 6. The selected candidate shall not claim any regular employment at this Institute, as the position is co-terminus with the project. 7. No T.A./D.A. will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview. 8. The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all respects.

Senior Research Fellow (Soil Microbiology)
Salary: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA per month for 1st and 2nd year Rs. 28,000/- + HRA per month for 3rd year
Education Requirements:
M.Sc./ M.Sc.(Ag) in Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Soil Microbiology/ Entomology/ Pathology/ Horticulture/ Vegetable Science with with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree.
Experience Requirements:
i) Experience in working with different modern instruments for soil, manure and plant analysis ii) Experience in management of different field crops. iii)Experience in recording different plant protection parameters in experiments iv) Experience in working with farmers in rural areas v) Experience in use of Microsoft office (word, excel, power point etc.) vi) experience in use GIS and GPS software
Qualifications: Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
