Education Requirements: Master’s degree in Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. OR Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in MAS as well as in Field work

General Information:
1. The Interested and eligible candidate fulfilling the above qualifications are invited to appear for walk in interview alongwith the prescribed format of application on 18.11.2015 (Wednesday) at 10:00 AM at ICAR-Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan, Almora – 263601(Uttarakhand) alongwith the application, Bio-Data affixing a self attested recent passport size photograph and enclosing self attested copies of certificates in support of age (Class 10th Certificate), qualifications, experience.
2. No-objection certificate from the employer/University in case he/she is in employment elsewhere/ studying.
3. The candidates are necessarily required to produce all original certificates which will be returned to them.
4. The above positions are on contractual basis, purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project
5. The place of work will be at ICAR-VPKAS, Almora (Uttarakhand) or the project site.
6. The selected candidate shall not claim any regular employment at this Institute, as the position is co-terminus with the project.
7. No T.A./D.A. will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
8. The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all respects.
