Eligibility criteria ( योग्यता ) : 1. The applicant should be a retired Railway employee from the same category. 2. The applicants should not have been covered under the safety related retirement scheme/ Liberalized active retirement scheme for guarantee employment of safety staff (LARSGESS) 3. Medical fitness will be ascertained in the appropriate category before reengaging. Cont... .. 2 .. 4. Suitability /competency of the staff will be adjudged before engagement. Applicants retired recently will be given preference. The issue of the safety record will be addressed. 5. Monthly remuneration of a retired employee being re-engaged will be determined by reducing Pension from his/her last pay drawn (i.e Basic Pay + DA) as per Railway Board’s letter no. E(NG)-II/2007/RC-4/CORE/1 dated 16.10.2017 (RBE 150/2017) 6. They will be engaged for a period upto 14.09.2018 or upto the date, the scheme of engagement of retired staff, may be extended, whichever is later. 7. Their services will be terminated when they are replaced by suitable regular incumbents or on attaining the age of 62 years, whichever is earlier. 8. They should be ready to work anywhere in Southern Railway.
