Subject Matter Specialist (PhD)

Pay Scale ( वेतन ) : The SMS will be engaged for 20 days a month at a rate of Rs. 3000 per day and will be based in Wildlife Institute of India (Dehradun) and/or Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (New Delhi) as per requirement.

Educational Requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : Ph.D. Degree from a recognized university and 10 years of professional experience or superannuated forest officer with forest/ wildlife management planning experiences/ Protected Area evaluation.

Desirable Qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : Experience of working in Protected Areas of India, handling wildlife management projects, evaluation of Protected Areas, Ecological Assessments, Wildlife Research, Biodiversity conservation

Job Responsibilities / Description ( उत्तरदायित्व) : Assist in implementation of the project  Review of MEE Reports  Liaison with Wildlife Division MoEFCC for the Project  Coordinate with Chief Wildlife Wardens of the State  Assist in preparation of the Final Project Report
