Education Requirements: Master's degree in Agriculture Science with specialisation in Agronomy or Plant Breeding or Genetics or Horticulture from a recognised university or institure.
Experience Requirements: Twelve years' experience in the concerned subject or area of discipline of the post.
Eligibility Criteria:
(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (ii) With two years’ regular service in post carrying the scale of pay of Rs. 37400-67000 (PB-4) plus grade pay of Rs. 8700 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or 2 (iii) With six years’ regular service in post carrying the scale of Pay of Rs. 15600-39,100 (PB-3) plus grade pay of Rs. 7600 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department
Desirable Qualifications: Doctorate Degree in concerned subject or discipline with one year's experience in handling development programme or schemes in rainfed farming areas.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (ISTC) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
