Educational Requirements: M.Sc. in Horticulture/Agriculture/ Botany from a recognized University with specialization in Genetics & Plant Breeding.
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates with M.Sc. (3+2 year pattern) in Botany should have qualified NET.
Experience Requirements: Experience in polyploidy breeding / crop improvement as evidenced by thesis / publication / certificates.

How to Apply: A walk-in interview will be held at this Regional Station for the following posts purely temporary and co-terminus basis under the ICAR Extramural Project on “ Pre-breeding for transfer of Okra Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus and Enation Leaf Curl Virus tolerance from wild relatives to cultivated genepool ” funded by ICAR, New Delhi.
The appointment will be up to 31/03/2017 or till the termination of the project, whichever is earlier. Interested and eligible candidates may attend the interview with a copy of Bio-data in the prescribed format (downloadable from the website), original and attested copies of certificates, experience certificates, etc. No Objection Certificate from the present employer also needs to be submitted, if already employed in similar positions. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
