Education Requirements: M.B.B.S Degree with Post Graduate Degree (MD/DNB) recognized by MCI in any branch of Clinical Medicine or Para-clinical subjects including Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology or General Medicine (Candidates with Community Medicine / PSM / Public Health qualification will be preferred) with 5 years R&D/ Teaching experience OR Post graduate diploma in Clinical and Para-clinical subjects (preferred Community Medicine/ PSM / Public Health) with 6 years R & D/ Teaching Experience in the required subjects from Recognized University
Experience Requirements:
a) Ph.D in Epidemiology or Dr. P.H. from a recognized University for candidates with first class in MBBS degree.
b) Additional Post Doctoral research (Field/ Medical Research Laboratories) / teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s). c) Knowledge of Computer Applications, Data Management and statistical packages.
Desirable Qualifications: M.B.B.S Degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized university with 8 years Research / Teaching experience in Public Health /Community Medicine after M.B.B.S degree with capacity to clinical research and writing proposals/papers.

10. All posts are Contractual for the duration offered. The appointment may be renewed after every specific period of time subject to satisfactory performance.
11. The incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under NIE/ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
12. TA/DA will not be paid by NIE for attending the written test/ interview.

Technician-A
Salary: Consolidated salary of Rs.13,490/- per month.
Education Requirements: 10th / Matric / High School / equivalent from a recognized board with One year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) / Diploma in Nursing from a Government recognized Institute or One year Laboratory / Field/ Clinical Experience of working in a Govt. Laboratory /Govt. Recognized Institution. (12th Pass in Science subjects shall be treated as equivalent to 2 years experience)
Qualifications: Training in Good Laboratory Practices, & exposure to MS Office will be an added advantage. Experience in blood collections in field & maintaining records.
